FAQ - Workshops & Events

  • I do not offer basic camera courses. This means that every photographer at our workshops should operate their equipment as safely as possible. Instead of shutter speed, iso, aperture, we prefer to deal with the following topics: Lighting effects, model communication, color and image composition. Basic knowledge in the field of photography enables greater learning success in our workshops.

  • Basically not. I do not consider the workshop format suitable for the topic image editing. Therefore I only offer coaching in the area of image editing. Of course you are free to ask me questions about image editing during the workshop, which I will be happy to answer.

  • The practical part of my workshops is "1 on 1". This means that only 1 participant shoots with 1 model at a time. Each photographer gets the same amount of individual shooting time with the model. Simultaneous shooting or shooting from a second row is not allowed.

  • The model release gives you private rights of use, i.e. you may use the images for your website and social media channels. Commercial use in the portfolio area is also permitted. Commercial use is prohibited or requires additional agreements with the model.

  • No problem, as long as you understand English. As soon as I have international guests, the coaching is in English or bilingual.

  • For my events and workshops I work primarily with international top models, as quality is my top priority. Communication is usually in English, sometimes in German. I publish the language skills of my models in the workshop announcement.

  • Each workshop includes a sound theoretical part. This helps every participant, whether analog or digital. However, the analog photographer is missing the picture critiques after each shooting round, which is an elementary part of my workshops. However, in the past analog photographers have participated in my workshops and were satisfied.

  • I think it's about 20% professionals and 80% amateurs. However, I don't keep statistics.
