As a coaching location we have the Loft Studio Cologne is available to us. However, it is also possible to conduct the coaching externally at other locations. Travel costs may be incurred, especially for international models.

Part 1: Light theory and shooting

In the first part of the day's coaching, you will learn the basics needed to create the desired images. You will need an SLR or system camera and prime lenses between 35-85mm.

After the theory, the shooting part (approx. 3 hours) is about putting what you have learned into practice. During the entire shoot, I will be on hand with help and advice and answer any questions you may have.

Image composition and model direction play just as important a role as using and directing the available lighting conditions.

 

Part 2: Editing & Image Processing

The image editing part is divided into the areas Lightroom & Photoshop. Here you will learn techniques that are used in almost all of my pictures. 

1: Lightroom: - Import
- Editing with the library module
- RAW conversion with the developer module
- Export for PS

2. photoshop: - basic skin retouching
- skin retouching with dodge & burn
- colour treatment of skin tones
- contrast adjustment
- colour toning
- liquefy
- selective sharpening
- set highlights

- post-processing with LR
