Special workshop participation conditions for Sicily 2025

§1 Organiser

For the photo event from 10.06.-14.06.2025 | 14.06.-18.06.2025 in Sicily, Italy, Sacha Leyendecker, hereinafter referred to as SL, expressly distances himself from acting or being regarded as a tour operator. SL will assist with the professional organization of the event and the processing of registrations.

All expenses required to participate in the event are borne by the participants themselves. 

§ 2 Registration | Cancellation

1. registration for the event must be made exclusively in writing using the event form at www.sacha-leyendecker.com. 50% of the participation fee is due immediately as a deposit. The remaining payment must be made by 01.04.2025. For registrations after 01.04.2025, the entire participation fee is due immediately. 

In the event of cancellation of the event by the participant - for whatever reason - there is no entitlement to a refund of the deposit or the participation fee. However, SL will make every effort to find a replacement participant. In the event of non-attendance by the participant, any claim for reimbursement will be forfeited.

§3 Liability | Hazards | Insurances

The organiser is not liable for force majeure or the natural failure of partial event services. The organiser is also not liable for the actions of the models or participants.

Participants take part in the event at their own risk. In particular, the risk of arrival and departure by plane or other means of transport, accidents, rebookings, delays or other risks in connection with the arrival and departure shall be borne by the participant. A price reduction, in particular due to the participant's delay, is excluded. Furthermore, the organiser is not liable for accidents to persons or damage to technical photographic equipment that occur during the stay.

SL strongly recommends that you take out health, travel cancellation, accident and photo equipment insurance for the period of the shooting event and the arrival and departure.

§4 Defects | Complaints

(1) If a defect occurs in an advertised or contractually agreed service, the participant must immediately complain to the event organiser so that the latter can take immediate remedial action if the defect is justified. If a participant does not report the defect until later, any claim to a reduction in the event price or compensation for damages shall lapse.

2. the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from the event contractual relationship is Düren, Germany.
